Saw this on eBay and thought what a great looking and interesting bike:

A significant part of the weight is the battery pack - this particular pack seems to weigh 3.5kg (see this thread on Endless Sphere where the weights of a BBS01 with this pack are detailed).Flat bars and hub drive and that would be just the kind of thing that I'd want.
I quite fancy the idea of building something like that. I'm surprised that it isn't lighter than the stated weight though.
If you're light, say <70 kg, 10S3P, and if you're heavy, say >90kg, 10S4P, If you're 80kg, carry on debating....... and am currently debating whether to stick with 10s3p 8.7Ah at 1.5kg or add another ten cells for an 11.6Ah at 2kg. Not sure yet!
Replacement at a high cost or live with it if the damage is superficial. Carbon frame/fork/wheel failures are sudden and catastrophic and repair is not really a safe option.I notice some rim damage on one of the carbon fibre wheels. Can this be fixed, or is it a case of replacing the whole wheel?
Agreed, dreadful contraption suitable only for a skip.It looks just the thing I would never want.
Maybe the reason they're getting rid of the bike.. MmmmmmmReplacement at a high cost or live with it if the damage is superficial. Carbon frame/fork/wheel failures are sudden and catastrophic and repair is not really a safe option.
