I have removed the battery from the rack and casing ( Again )and converted it, does it look awful,? I will be putting some white on the battery soon.

After my outing yesterday in the forests I knew it had to be removed and changed over.

I have removed company name, don't want to upset them, if they wish the picture to be removed then please ask or a mod if I cant do it after posting and accept my apologises.

Yep, any chance of squeezing that lot into a triangle frame bag?

If you have a 19" frame, then these bags fit perfectly:

EM3ev Triangle Battery Bag

Shouldn't imagine an 18" or 20" would cause any problems though.
The advantage of this one over the one I bought a few years ago, is that it has internal velcro strapping to keep the battery secure.
Mine fits a 48v 15Ah Ping and 30 amp controller, plus a boat load of wiring.
You would need to measure, check and check again to see if a frame bag is suitable for you ;)

Thanks for the link and reply, I have already considered a frame bag from wildcat, that bag is certainly cheaper than others I have seen on the net, i would like mine a bit thinner though.2.5 inch or 60mm.

The frame is 20 inch.

Again thanks for feedback

Would be cool if ebike diy builders could buy a frame that already had a neat, engineered box in the frame triangle to put all the gubbins in, but dont know if anyone makes such a thing

With proper dropouts designed for ebike motors, so one doesn't have to fanny about with torque arms/plates :D

What company name have you removed? The bike?
Who cares? It's your bike, you can put a photo of your bike anywhere you like and the company can't touch you for it - in fact, they should be grateful for the advertising.

Thanks for posting the greyborg, that has the function that I was thinking but imo is somewhat lacking in the looks department.....!

Function over form.

Mine should be being shipped over within the next month.

Coupled with a Cromotor and 100v of 24s lipo, it should shift. :)

A frame bag is being ordered. The bike is 3.2kg lighter without rack and case, rides so much better off road.
Which is all I do really. Also it takes care of other storage problems.

Thanks.

you may want to take a look here before ordering

Welcome To BikeBag.co.uk

Main advantage is you can have a bag made to your precise requirements and for not much more then the mass produced ones (and often cheaper).

As with other times I have recomended this company I have nothing to do with it other than as a satisified customer.
