I would say that 'out specs' my Cyclamatic, especially at the 'current' Cyclamatic retail, the 36v option and lights ? free delivery, and from an 'established' E-Bike retailer, very good.
No mention of braking system.

The only thing that would cloud the issue is the fact that sometimes the Cyclamatic is available cheaper on special offer . But if the price is equal, the Kudos wins hands down. Especially as it is 36 volts against 24.

Not only is your bike a better buy at present Dave, I'd say it is still a better buy when the Cyclamatic is on special offer at a much lower price. The main benefits of the Kudos are having the genuine SB motor, the much longer lived LiFePO4 battery which I'd estimate will last twice as long, and the support of a dedicated e-bike company for replacement batteries and other spares long term. Even one of the most ardent fans of the Cyclamatic has observed it's poor quality build and the necessity of putting right initial problems, while others have advocated mods to improve on it's low power, something not necessary on your 36 volt bike.

The frame height on these MTB style low x-bar frames is a confusion and meaningless, the tube height is 17" but you have to consider the battery mounting on top of that. A more useful dimension is crank centre>top of saddle height-at the minimum this is 25",at the maximum 32". Generally the sport has been sold to smaller persons and the King or Tourer to taller persons.
The telephone response has been so good that we have decided to extend the promotion to our DUKE and DUCHESS models, now also £595.00
thanks
