Hi.
I'd already seen this bike. It's still available "new" or 2101 model for £799.00. Its also the 26V model and £495.00 as a starting bid is expensive for a used bike.

I really dont get why you have become fixated with one decidedly average model/make in particular......The Panasonic E Motion would be a much better choice of e bike in my opinion:rolleyes:
Hi. Not fixated just suits the criteria particularly weight, Watt hours, stepthrough and riding position. There are a few others I had been interested in e.g. 2011 Kalkhoff stethrough however replacement BionX battery prices killed those off and the reluctance by Kalkhoff and their dealers to disclose weights.

Don't! - John Entwistle came to me in a dream last night and told me to tell Vectra to keep looking ..... Bass players never give up .. they go on ...and on ..and on ...
:)
btw - Bert Entwistle, John's dad, lived next door but one to me in the village where I was born (Rhiwderin).
Hi.

Promise I won't go on and on and on except with my bass.

P.S. We appear to dream in tandem........................non electric though.

I used to be fixated with my ex girlfriend and I gave her all my love with nothing in return..lol
Then she would dump me once a week till an old wise man told me she only
dumped me for 1 or 2 reasons ,,the first being she didnt want me or second was to get me back on my hands and knees... and he told me to go and do number 3 and tell her..I said whats that? I was to take another bird out and sleep with her..

To choose...

Hi,
I,m new on this forum, from Norway and has also been on the web for a while looking for reviews on e-bikes. Here in Norway the marked are practically non-existent. But I know some are sold e.g. Wisper and Kalkhoff. I want to commute to work on a more regular basis and have some climbing on my way home.
I have tried the Wisper, but I did not like the brakes and the quick/sudden activating on the motor. It seems a bit simple to me, but this is only my personal view. My criteria were hydraulic disc brake, fixed fork, center drive and generally high quality bike. Keep in mind that an electric bike is heavy and you should pay attention to quality brakes!
If you choose damper fork you should keep in mind that the damper require service every 2 – 3 year in order to work properly. I do a lot of biking on my free time on gravel road, now with a fixed fork, and do not miss the damper. And I do the downhill fast… But of course – with /without damper is a matter of taste I believe.
I have read a lot of reviews here on the forum and other places. I now look forward to drive to Germany and pick up my already ordered Kalkhoff Sahel Pro C, with some extra sprockets (in order to be flexible with the ratio). The Norwegian dealer just has some few stepthrough Kalkoff bikes and not with the brake I want. The Norwegian dealer was also a bit unwilling to offer a price on other models that he have in the store. So - Germany next!
I still save a lot of money by order it in Germany and pick it up myself – and an Easter vacation at the same time…
Kalkoff also have a lots of e-bike models in their range and I’m quite sure they will be around for several years. A bit high price, but you get quality. In the long term I’m sure this will pay off.
Sorry for possible bad English here… :D

Vanished... again!

Why are my replies disappearing over-night?.

A 'welcome' reply to Pedal Anton, posted shortly after flecc's reply #28, but before stevebills reply #29 has now vanished!. My posting was still there just before 00.45 hrs when I turned in for the night, this morning it's gone!.

This is the second time this month a posting by me has disappeared over-night!. :(

Slightly perplexed
