Feel a bit guilty for not posting had a lot of help and fun here, but things got a bit out of hand.
Been away for a while, half a year being stiched up by the nhs (marvellous people)
then travel in The Balklans and Ukrane. Warning cycling there is rather scary.
Albania roads aweful drivers look at you while overtaking (swerve) Bulgaria, Roumania care with manhole covers,(they steal them, then put a branch in hole to warn drivers) but are v friendly and helpful.
ukrane, only peasants cycle..ignore them also no branch in hole.can be helpful, but beware the v poor, they are verry verry poor.and this can lead to a bit of borrowing.
Hope that was a bit interesting.

NOW has any one replaced the outer gear change cable on an Aggatu without moving the motor.
I goes through the frame and as far as I can see dissapears under the motor.

Although I've never tackled it on the new unit bikes, you will probably be able to change the gear cable outer without having to unbolt the motor, but you won't know for certain until you remove the cowls,

This excellent illustrated post by member 10mph will help you to do that:

Removing the Agattu motor unit cowls
