Tillson might have a spare controller if you ask nicely.
I bought a kalkoff pro with 26 volt system an no battery.
I split the cost with Tillson and he had the motor and controller. I put the system from my bust BH race on it.
Check Ebay etc for bike with duff battery,s

Sorry, I can't help with the controller. I bought my motor (2011 model) from Martin at ebikeshop and used my existing 2008 controller. The two seem to be compatible, but I don't think that this is the case with all motor combinations.

Ps Who's bought the 300 Watt Panasonic S class motor for £51 off ebay? A good price if you want that sort of thing.

I bought the 300w motor the controller and the both wheels for a total of £85 and will collect!
Got a nice project to swap out my 2009 model and convert it to a 2010. Need that bit extra as I live in Wales and I have loads of hills everywhere!
Any tips highly welcome.

You did well.

As you probably know, I swapped my faulty 2008 motor for a little used 2011 (250 Watt ) unit. If you have any questions about the swap, post them and I will help if I can.

You certainly got that all for a good price. If, when you change, you end up with an older type controller you don't require anymore I'd be interested to make you an offer.
