can anybody help?
how can I connect non-genuine battery to Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0?

2 thick wires red + black is simple + and -
but there are two additional thin wires white + brown on the bike.

I connect 40v + and - to thick red and black, the display starts, but it shows battery 0% and the engine do not work when I ride.

The display will show zero volts since that function has a separate feed from the battery, hence one of those extra wires. I don't know the purpose of that other thin wire, but it's sometimes the case in such units that the battery management is shared by the unit as well as the battery electronics. That's true of the Panasonic unit as well, so your lack of those connections will be what is preventing use of another battery.

It's likely that the extra wire carries a connection from within the battery's electronics (BMS) and the unit won't function without it being in place. That could be a low level 5 volts, so don't experiment with trying other connections since you could damage the internal circuitry.

I already tried 3v and 6v on extra wires before but there were no effect on the LCD.

I can't help beyond that since I don't know the Impulse unit and am judging from the similar Panasonic one. It may be that your extra wires need the higher voltage to LCD and power unit, but of course trying that is risky.

A large number of our leading members are at an e-bike event today and won't see your query currently. You may get some more answers when they return.
