Longer Seatpost

Am going to fit a kit, probably from yose power, to my folding bike. I could do with a longer seatpost. The one I have is 50cm and could do with a 60cm post. It’s diameter is 30.4mm. Can’t find anything. Any ideas would be much appreciated

You could fit a shim, for example

I don't know if there are safety issues with folding bikes that rule out shims, though.

The shim is just for fitting seat posts of different diameters. I still need to find a longer seatpost.

and add a 27.2 -> 30.4 shim.

I'd want to be very sure of the quality before placing my posterior on such a long post though.

Fair point about the quality, was also thinking that I’m not convinced about using shims either. With the length of the seatpost there’s going to be a fair bit of pressure on the frame and clamp.
