Loose Panasonic Battery

I'm sure I've seen this mentioned elsewhere on tinterweb but what am I supposed to do if the endless potholes I have to cycle over have made the battery loose on my Pro Connect? I can see that some of the terminals are getting pitted so it must only be a matter of time before it starts cutting out.
