This is a new tactic by the police, targeting cycle tracks (like I use) rather than town centres (which I don't use). They are really getting a taste for seizing ebikes now.

That Starsfly has a 750w motor and switch to instantly go from illegal mode to legal mode. Someone is about to see their 1500 quid bike instantly go in the crusher.
The drug dealers in Telford, use those big powerful scooter along the cycle tracks to avoid being stopped on the road.

44mph e-bikes were seized from food delivery workers
A total of seven bikes were taken in just one afternoon during a crackdown by South Wales Police and Cardiff Council to tackle the illegal use of e-bikes and e-scooters
This one looks standard , except hide the throttle gloves

Electric bike rider arrested for dangerous driving over dash-cam video

100% in my opinion there will be huge market for these once the big companies get involved and make them a legal motorbike with all the regs that are needed to use them on the road ie a mop head .

I clocked a guy on a racing type bicycle hi end going up hill over the Brent Cross fly over doing 25 MPH with just pedal power .

Some people just will not be happy till Pedelech ‘s have to have Number plate , insurance , Tax ECT all the reasons why a lot of us want to use the car less.

As usual in this country we have a big fudge and some thing good is being spoiled by people who do not want to follow the rules.

Ie if you want to ride a motorcycle go and buy one .

That said no good reason a Pedelech should not be able to do 20 MPH under peddle power then cut out .

Might stop drivers tailgating cyclists on 20 MPH roads except for impatient A ———-

Yes unregulated and basically cheating ie cheating your way into the UK in the first place .
Event catering is the same unregulated as to who is working for slave wages giving unfair competition to those who follow the rules.

Here one that’s not on the News , my brother used to work for Shepards Bush housing association that has a lot of high end properties in West London including Kensington some worth upwards of 2 million .

There policy was or is to give priority for getting into a home effectively by the association that has charity status to Asuylum seekers from persifically from Somalia “I wonder what the draw is to get in a little boat from France”

( I just frustrated spell check yet again )

Now he is working for a different council in Hownslow refurbishing voids being given to Assulum seekers with priority fully furnished including carpets and TVs.

Viva La France !!!!!

Once again the wrong information being 'clarified'.
250w is not the maximum power output. Educating coppers that it is leaves people, like me, who have a wattage display, at risk of having the bike wrongly seized.
The voltage label is not the battery power, it's the voltage !
It's pretty impressive that they have managed to get all three points on the poster to contradict the linked guidance in the article.
