This might look expensive, but in fact that's not all that much more than the original Panasonic folder was about
6 years ago.

Also, the near identical Flyer Faltrad Panasonic-motored folder UK price was £2100 in 2008, goodness knows how
much now.

Hi all,

OnBike have been supplying the E-motion folder for about 6 months and has proved very popular, although some people comment that the cadence is too high for them in top gear - the bike uses a 6-speed freewheel, so it's not easy to make any significant improvement.

It's a great quality little folder though and anyone's welcome to come and try one at OnBike, no obligation as usual.

OnBike sell this bike with the Panasonic 12Ah battery, but I believe some suppliers are selling it cheaper with only the 8Ah battery, so well worth checking first!!!

We also supply the bike for £1450 with the Panasonic 10Ah battery.

Thanks for the explanation Phil. Of course the original Panasonic Will folder of many years ago had a very small
lithium battery.

Also, good to see the new Panasonic 12 Ah battery is now available.

That explains that one Phil. 50cycles don't actually quote a battery capacity on their website, but I see that you now do;)

We're assured they are 12Ah batteries but will confirm. Hope to have them available for test rides in Loughborough and Richmond upon Thames by this time next week.

As a company that started out specialising in folding electric bikes (the plucky Honda Step Compo and, a little later, the Panasonic WiLL Bike which I think was the first electric vehicle of any kind to go on sale in the UK with a Lithium battery, way back in 2004), it's great to have a folding Panasonic-powered electric bike in the range again after so long, especially one with greater power and range.

Tim, Does this mean that you might be selling other E Motion Panasonic bikes as well?

I would imagine 50cycles have added the E Motion folder to their range as Kalkhoff don't make one as far as I am aware.
