FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! £6.61 for postage amazing.. .. no thoughts spring to mind about the bike, just i paid £1.61 just to post a 150ml bottle of hand cream the other day,on that ratio i would have expected this bike to be WAY more then a tenner..

Maths obviously isn't their strong point. Further down the ad says
"Our electric scooter would normally cost £599.99 ... while stocks last, it is available for only £399.99, saving you £100!" (emphasis mine)

Maybe the delivery of £6.61 is explained by the miraculous shipping weight of 0.10kg.

These have come up before and I agree they seem great value.

The problem with those is going to be getting parts when they go wrong, which they will. Also I would take the 40 mile range with a pinch of salt, similar scooters we have sold in the past would just about do 25 maybe 30 miles if you're really lucky (and weigh next to nothing). That's when the batteries are new. Within 2 years (at most) of regular use the batteries will probably only get you 10 miles max.

After two years at those prices you could throw it away. It would easily have paid for itself in the form of commuting costs.

Not very environmentally friendly though I guess.

Regrettably, for practical use they fall well short of the mark, due to the low powered motors.
I wanted one for where I live but I would need a min 4000-watt for the Cornish hills .... but these (high powered bikes) are £4000.
It says range is 40miles per charge .... but at what speed?
I have seen figures quoted for these low powered bikes as: max speed 30mph for first 20 miles, less if hilly
Unfortunately, if you live in a hilly area this machine would be virtually useless - 1500-watt motor
You'll be better off with an e-bike

i tried a similar looking bike but it must have had a smaller motor or something because it only went about 20mph. really crap.

there is a video on youtube of a low power chinese scooter compared to a bike and the bike (not E) easily accelerates away from it. And that's on the flat - forget about hills! I fink you need 2-4000watt motors before they get practical but they arr not cheap!. The OP would be better of getting a cheap petrol moped/scooter and like others said save the e biking for pleasure/occasional fair weather commutes.

But the new wisper 500 watt class E bike would be a contender for the commute I would fink.......if it was legal

i think these simple yet extremely bad "saving" "shipping weight" errors alone give the impression they are not exactly going to be reliable suppliers when customer service is needed,if they deduct 100 from 599.99 and come up with 399.99 would you hand over your money ?...........................
