Hi All,
Finally had the time today to set up my BMSB kit:
SO6S controller, LCD6, Q100C 201RPM
PAS is "Dual Hall Sensor D12 Signals Easy Installation PAS"
https://bmsbattery.com/home/837-dual-hall-sensor-d12-signals-easy-installation-pas.html

Throttle spins the wheel nicely - brake sensor interrupts it.

When I pedal, PAS sensor flashes - if I disconnect the appropriate connector it no longer flashes on pedalling.
It doesn't flash when I pedal backwards.

Cadence display stays at zero and no motor engagement.

I'm assuming that the flashes mean it is working correctly - is this valid?

Suggestions for troubleshooting ? Unfortunately I don't have another PAS to swap out :(
(should have ordered a couple of the cheap components - note to self)

I thought I'd read somewhere about some sensor needing to re-wired, but searches only result in hits for disk wrong way 'round or not close enough (assuming the flashes mean not relevant, but glad to be wrong?)

Download the manual for the LCD, then look at the C1 parameter setting - probably needs to be 5. If that doesn't work, try 6 and 7.

Thanks d8veh - found a manual for LCD3 - settings seem to be mostly the same - C1 -> 5 has done it.

Took it out for a first test ride of half a mile - heard a little tinkling.

Checked the spokes a 3 were less than finder tight. Another note to self - check the spokes yourself.
