pas working when i back peddle

I have laced a Q100c into a 700c wheel and I have a KT-LCD 5 display the bike has a Hollowtech crank I glued the pas senser12 magnet disk onto the inner chain ring and the placed the sensor on the down tube and it works fine if I peddle backwards, before I perches a king meter pas sensor is there something I am missing I have played round with the P & C settings and turned the sensor round but it still doesn’t work when peddling forwards, I am wondering if I cut the cable and revers the wiring would that work

The magnet disc needs flipping, the magnets have a N & S pole so if one pole direction doesn't work the other pole will.

Thanks for the advice Neath I will unglue the disk of the chain ring and turn it over cheers Andy

Some sensors are L or R handed, also the sensor positioning can have an effect.
I have before now placed one on the horizontal plain and found direction affected by placing it E or W.
