My 2014 Ezee conversion has a full acting throttle. It gets used for hill starts and........well that's about it really. Just 'cos it's there, doesn't mean it's always used. It would drastically cut my range if I did.

I can see your throttle hand getting some more exercise, but for some the temptation must be to use the pedals less and the throttle more. But if you need it why not?
The beauty of cycling is in using pedals to get exercise etc, but not everyone has the strength/ability to do so, so having a throttle would be hugely beneficial in these cases. If these riders could pedal more I'm sure there wouldn't be as much reliance on a throttle. However, by having a throttle it would make cycling more inclusive and that's what I'm advocating for.
