You need to host the picture from outside. You can for example upload your pictures in Imagehack (imageshack.us) and paste the picture link here.

I use dropbox because I found it very convenient.

When you enter the URL, uncheck the box below titled "Retrieve remote file and reference locally", then click the "Insert image" button. That should do it.

Hi John, 2 ways I use. 1. if you register with imageshack, flickr, photobucket, picasa, etc .,.. then you can benefit from the things that these services provide. Things like managing your photos into albums. Having uploaded a photo once then you dont need to do it again you can simply share the photo or albums.
2. if you just want to load pictures to this forum then there is a option during the creation of a new post. Its under the GO Advanced button and called Manage Attachments. This allows you to browse your computer and select photos to upload

If you need some further help then please PM me and I'll try to help.

If you want beautiful, full-detailed pictures, there.s a few ways to do it, but they all involve uploading your pictures to another website (image host). Here's how I do it, which is very simple.
Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and open an account. It doesn't cost anything.
Upload your photos there by following their simple instructions.
Open up your photo of choice and on the left is a box marked "Links"
In the list in the box is ome marked "IMG code"
You click in the space next to it, and it says, "copied"
You then switch to the Pedelecs forum where you're making you post and paste.
By magic, smoke and mirrors (and a bit of love), some code appears in your posting
When you actually submit your post, the link is converted to a beautiful picture for everyone to see.

It takes a lot less time to do and is far simpler than describing the process.
