As my wife had the car I didn't know how to pick up the Windsor from Heskin Hall until I thought .. hey.. I can use the Breeze to get there with my kid trailer then swap them over and put the Breeze, folded, into the trailer. Also picked up the turbo trainer (on back rack) and got some lunch at the same time :)

You're not Dutch by any chance? Using bikes so constructively is certainly very Un-British and will not be tolerated.

I know, disgraceful isn't it. Will have to check my passport. My ancestors were Vikings, not quite Dutch but they carried stuff in their longboats. I'm sure they might have towed their boats overland by using an ebike if they'd have had them then. I think Flecc has towed everything you can imagine in his days. Eddie 'Flecc' Stobart :)

Indeed, even with twin trailers:

No, that's not a drinks bottle, it's an Airzound horn air tank. Truck behaviour calls for truck sounds!

Certainly beats Kitchenmans 'bright idea' a couple of years ago of towing a bike behind his bike quite a long way to his brothers ......funny, but frightening

I didn't take a photo at the time, but I towed a bike six miles from central Croydon by turning it into a one wheel trailer. I used my e-bike and large trailer, put the front wheel of the bike to be towed in the trailer and then placed the towed bike's forks into the rear of the trailer. Then with the handlebars lashed down to the trailer with bungees, the towed bike was free to articulate behind the trailer and act like a single wheel second trailer. Worked perfectly.

Ingenious you are Mr Flecc (as Yoda would say)

but I was thinking, are there any rules and regs re: cycle trailer towing?
I know that if the police 'deem' something to be unsafe for whatever reason you can be "prostetuted" but I can't think of any regs, can anyone?

I don't know of any laws on bicycle goods trailers. I believe there's a maximum width regulation on pedicabs and the like that may also apply to trailers, but that's far wider than any trailer we are likely to use.

I don't think billadie was expecting you to go so far back into time, please do not put all the entire blame on the Vikings
