Yes, it has to be since a three pin socket on the charger could not connect to the five pin plug in the battery. The only change is the number of pins on both and that's probably to help ensure only the right charger is used. The connector used depends on the e-bike manufacturer. As examples, eZee have always used XLR, Powacycle on the Salisbury/Windsor these NTC ones, Wisper have generally used the "kettle" type IEC connector, later in a rotated earth pin configuration.Thanks flecc, so would it be original plug for this bike?......Del.
