Powacycle Seat Adjustment

On my Powacycle Salisbury the seat moves slightly from side to side, anyone know how to stop this ? It is not the seat post, that moves seat up or down, but the hexagonal bar that goes into it, on which the seat itself sits, more annoying than anything, just wondered if there is a way to tighten it up ?.......Del.

I'm not quite clear on that description Del if this is what you mean. The sliding pillar of the suspension seatpost on these does usually rotate a bit from side to side in the lower sleeve section of the main seatpost pillar, common all this type of seatpost.

There's no way of adjusting that out that I know of, it's just the slight slack in the fit that's necessary for the post to slide easily. It's diameter is too small for that looseness to be minimal.

I had the same problem, when I took it to bits i think it was a aluminium part inside had
just worn out along some groves from memory, so hard to correct without new part.

Underneath rubber gaitor I found this....tightened it with large spanner....job done !!....Del.
