Hello, has anyone else come across this make? Home Page of Powerpedals electric bicycles They seem to be saying that they use their own unique system which is better than other more expensive, recognised brands.Being completely untechnical, I wonder if that's right?

Thanks for the link Tyler, it is different, an angle drive system a bit like Yamaha used to make. You'll see on the link a similar inline motor ahead of the chainwheel driving the pedal cranks of this Yamaha PAS.

The Yamaha used bevel gear drive which is the better, but the one you've linked to is a worm gear drive by the look of it which is less efficient.

Either way these angle drive systems are generally not popular now.
