I would recommend that YT videos mustn't be embedded/inserted into posts unless they relate to e-bikes. Instead, post a link so they are not 'in your face'.

I just put the 'Spammer in Chief' on Ignore. This thread loads instantly now because my browser is not trying to cache all the spam videos about American politics.
I also won't be tempted to click on the depressing thread about e-bike fires, or the one about the seizure of ridiculous franken-bikes captured by police while riding about pedestrian precincts. What ANY of that has to do with the average e-bike rider, I can't imagine.
If there ever was a campaign better designed to put people off buying and using an electric bike, I haven't seen it.
This is why politics should be kept out of ebike forums. It's just a matter of time before members start name-calling, slagging each other off and generally provoking disharmony.

Can you list some of the posts you are objecting to?
I often hold diametrally opposing views to MikelBikel's on renewables and the EU, immigration and welfare with soundwave but wouldn't want them to stop posting.
As long as the posts are within accepted social norms and forum rules, I can't see why they should be banned.
