Recommend me a conversion kit

I've been happily riding my ebike to work for nearly a year now, at the weekend we found ourselves in the Peak District in our motorhome and had taken our ordinary bikes with us to get about. Mrs T really struggled on her Raleigh touring bike and so we are thinking of converting it to an ebike.

Ideally we'd want a conversion to be;

1. legal to ride as a bike on the road.
2. Good for getting up hills.
3. OK to be left a while between uses.
4. Relatively easy to fit (I'm OK with a spanner and screwdrivers, less so with a multimeter and circuit diagrams).
5. Reasonable cost.

Any recommendations?

I'll check the existing wheel size tonight, I'm fairly sure a 700C would fit. How much would such a kit cost me?

Anything else I need to check on the bike to make sure it fits?

Any hub kit will usually need the drop outs to be filed or dremmelled 3 or 4mm deeper, otherwise electrically everything is just pug and paly connection wise. Kits are ok between use, it's the battery that needs looking after. Don't leave it standing long ( months on end) fully charged or discharged, 38.5 - 39v is a good resting/storage voltage.

£499 with 13AH battery, £549 with 15AH battery, £25 for a new battery rack.
Usually, check the bottom bracket if there is enough room for a left side pedal sensor, easier to fit than a right side conventional PAS. Check the brake levers, the kit comes with plain vanilla sensored levers.
