Replacement electric parts for Raleigh Stoweway (Tranzx)?

I've tested my e-bike using the diagnostic software, and no issues were detected. However, I'm still facing the same problem with the display — it shows almost nothing when connected to the bike, even with a fully charged battery.(see photos)

Interestingly, when I connect the bike to my laptop and run the software, the display functions normally and shows everything as expected. This leads me to believe the issue might be with the connection — possibly the cable from the controller to the display, or from the battery to the controller.

The display is removable and connects via a 5-pin (NMEA-style) connector, which can be unplugged near the frame where it joins the cable running to the controller and battery.

My questions:
  1. Does anyone know how to test the voltage on these 5 pins relative to the battery? I’d like to identify whether the issue is on the battery/controller side or within the display cable itself. I’ve attached some photos for reference.
  2. Is there anyone near North Oxfordshire who might be able to help by testing my setup with their own display? I'd like to confirm whether the rest of the system is working and whether my display might be water-damaged or faulty.
Any guidance or local help would be greatly appreciated!

You can check continuity/integrity of the wiring using a basic multimeter.

One thing you do need to establish is that your cadence sensor is working properly. The diagnostic test doesn't always show if there's a fault there, and being where it is, it gets covered in wet and crud. A good thorough clean or even replacement is essential before proceeding... and that tip comes from a seasoned e-bike dealer who has fixed many tens of these Stow-e-ways (not me). A couple of members here have been successful just doing that.

Ok I have tested all and looks like I have a surge on the connection cable between controller and display part no AA504010151 , which would lead me to think that I also need to replace display's cable part no AA504010150

Any idea how to open display DP 15 without breaking it to test cable connection there? thx

What do you mean by surge? what test did you perform to reach this conclusion?

If you mean when reading battery voltage between ground and one of the display pins it starts to fall while reading? or perhaps something else?

Im not familiar with your bike.. so this might not be possible, but if you use usb to connect the display to the computer which brings the display to life, could you try plugging a smll 5v power bank into the display instead of the computer ? If that brings the display up?? it might be better to live with the bodge than try and fix the display which will probably require some destructive force to open.

I got to the plug between controller and display (situated in frame) to check whether the plug that links to controller plug is ok and when tested all 5 pins link to all 5 wires at the other end so there is an issue with connection on that cable - cable needs replacements part no AA504010151, but still not sure whether plug from display would work but assume it might not either (it was all green when I checked and treated with contact cleaner but feel that it might need replacement). There is spare cable for it but no idea how to open it at all (see photo)
