Replacement Nimh battery

I need a new battery for my Synergie extreme. It is a NiMh 36volt made up of six packs of what appear to be 5 cells of presumable 1.2 volt each. These cells are joined up together by what appear to spot welded strips of metal. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain a replacement or get it refurbished as I believe only one of the cells is faulty?
Thanks John

The recelling services seem to have disappeared now John, due to the demise of NiMh on the e-bike market and hardly any sources of high discharge rate cells. The only company I know of in the UK now is Cellpack Solutions.

It's not practical to replace one cell as it would mean certain failure, the cells in a pack have to be balanced.

If Cellpack Solutions cannot help, you may find a suitable pack or packs at Batteryspace in the USA, one of the few comprehensive suppliers left. The prices can be reasonable from there if the lower cost postage options are used.

Thanks for that information. I have contacted Synergie and they say they can replace the battery with a Lead acid type which means a new charger as well £200! I did not dare enquire about delivery. I will have to get my old push bike out I think.
Thanks again
John
