Riskjo Velorisk

Whilst away in Venice, Italy I tried a Riskjo Velorisk 14 which was surprisingly offered for rental in a bike hire shop. It was so much more powerful that the Sparta Ion and a great ride.

I live in the UK and wondered whether anyone knew if these bikes were available to purchase here or just in Italy?

It appears to be only in Italy, the online shop based there.

There's discussion about it in the Italian jobike online electric bike forum, but not it seems elsewhere.

However, as you will see from my answer to you elsewhere, your Sparta has by far the weakest e-bike motor around, so almost anything else you try will be much more exciting, especially the hub motor e-bikes. Most have internally geared motors, but your Sparta has a low power direct drive motor which runs at wheel speed and has little torque for climbing and acceleration.

It's a pity, because in all other respects it's a superbly made bike.
