saw a fairly decent set yesterday

whilst at local shops saw a road bike fitted with bafang mid drive,the battery was in a triangular shaped case and sat nestled just above bottom bracket.

talking to the owner who seemed very knowledgeable on batteries and cells battery was a self build.

moter 1000watt baffang running at 52v and 25 amp controller, battery ga cells 700 or 800 watts

very small button acted as throttle on left hand brake/shifter.

I was quite impressed over all no doubt lots of grunt and speed

sorry to go slightly off topic, a word about self build batteries: if you make your own battery, you may not need UN38.3 testing but if you sell it, you will.
