Could anyone advise whether it is possible to have two throttles on the same set of bars please?

My bars are of the 'butterfly' variety, and I often need to position my hands on the upper section (for comfort), but when I am doing so, I cant operate the throttle which sits on the bottom of the bars (if you see what I mean).

I havn't dropped in here for a while - its good to see that the site remains interesting and informative:)

Hi cogs, its been a while, welcome back in.

Yes, you can parallel two identical Hall effect throttles, connecting the two positive feeds, two neutrals and two outputs. Then whichever throttle you use, the signal voltage will be fed to the controller.

I don't think that can have any ill effects.

Cheers flecc, I had an idea that it would be ok, but confirmation by expert opinion offers peace of mind.

My bikes been problem free for ages, which is obviously great news, and testament to the alien kit that I attached to my Thorn.
