Hello,

I purchased in the past (too) many kits to try and now because of my unstable situation I need to get rid of as many stuff as possible.

I currently have this nice front Q100H I need to sell:
http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/front-q100h-26-with-48v-kit-25mph.21148/

But it's not selling for now and I'd like not to loose too much money. People asking me about the kit are mainly new to biking.

I was thinking maybe to buy a new bike:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/vitus-bikes-dee-260-city-bike-2015/rp-prod120677?gs=1&gclid=CjwKEAjwnpSsBRDH3pT2-7q55R4SJABRiNyTL8BgE9oTj3zG4yzX14DXTh2EVzOrDPZ4RMO7ijdL3hoCdpXw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds#

Then install it, and sell the whole for £600?

Or maybe it's better not to do that? suggestions?

At the end of the day it will sell for what's its worth. The answer is not to invest more money and time and end up losing even more.

Reduce the kit cost by 350 or so.

may be you should advertise your kit as 'bring your bike to me (central London), I will fit this kit to your bike for £399 all in'

Both Gerry and Trex have it right.
Why spend money on a bike that may not appeal to anyone, better just to get what you can for it or fit it to a bike for someone looking to have a bike converted.
If you do the latter, you need to clarify any liability issues upfront.

If it successful you could end up with small business......but don't give up the day job!

thanks for your kind advice guys.

I really don't want to install it for someone, there are so many random questions I'd spend too much time telling them what to do.

the thing is that a nice lightweight bike is still appealing to me, and somehow it would also be the type of bike I'd like to have in my armory!

maybe i can do an offer such as "borrow the bike for £50 per month" so that the borrower would keep the bike for me and at the same time pay me back? :D

You already have one, don't you? Or have you sold your Boardman hybrid?

I certainly wouldn't buy a bike to sell your motor. I think it's not selling because it's up for a high price - drop the price and you'll be able to sell it.

I would agree with Michael reduce the price. Although a good bit of kit esp the intergrated sine wave battery, controller, lcd combo the items look well used with many wear and mark indicators.
Put it on Fleabay with a 275-300 reserve and see what happens, the forum is not a wide enough market to sell all your items.

my boardman hybrid is aluminium fork. It would just split the dropout in 2 if I fit it in, even with torque arm because of vibrations :(
