The Giant Revive was certainly an interesting concept, but it was quite poorly executed, lower power special version of the Panasonic unit and very small battery. The idea deserved development. I certainly wouldn't pay £499 for one now, so long after it's discontinuation, there will probably be no spares available for it's completely non-standard features for starters, so an early failure could be terminal or very difficult to overcome.

It doesn't seem much of a bargain. It's only 9% less than the list price of a brand new 2015 model with GPS.

This one appears to have a 60's kitchen chair frame for a seat... and the linkage for the steering appears to be a telescopic strut... and the prices converted from local money are start/reserve is 200 pounds, buy now for 400 pounds o_O
