I discovered this on eBay:
SUNRUNNER/BRONX VERY LIGHT ELECTRIC BIKE. DIRECT TO YOU on eBay, also, Bikes, Cycling, Sporting Goods (end time 01-Nov-08 18:48:33 GMT)
and have found further details here:
BRONX SUNRUNNER 26" 2008 : £765.00 : ELECTRIC BIKES TRIKES AND SCOOTERS : Electric Bikes - Unisex -
Unfortunately the only information the eBay seller (an established cycle dealer) has available about the gearing is that the rear sprocket is 12 tooth (but can be changed) and the chain wheel is either 44 or 48 tooth. mailordercycles says the three speed hub gear is a Nexus but does not specify which version.
With its lightweight battery and claimed total weight of 19.5 kgs this bike appears to have some of the attributes of newer models now appearing, such as the Cytronex, small battery and lightweight, but requiring a fair amount of input from the rider much of the time (especially so, I should think, if the 35 mile range claimed for the Sunnrunner/Bronx is to be achieved from its 3.5 amp battery).
I have now found the manufacturer's site:
:: BRONX CYCLES 08 ::
and find there that both brakes are claimed to be V-brakes, while the eBay item has rear drum and front side pull. More interestingly the flyer which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's site describes ten levels of power assist which can be set on the controller, quite an advance on the Agattu's three levels, but the motor unit is definitely not Panasonic being a front hub which the manufacturers claim to be "unique" as it allows the bike to be pedalled normally without the power assistance!
