I saw the non electric version at a bike shop in Irun the other day and immediately thought "there is a folder for a BBS01 or GSM kit". Very nice bike from the USA I think with quality components. No price visible through the window and store closed for lunch...

I'd have one at that price.

Very nice bike from the USA I think with quality components.

Tern is effectively half the Dahon company, well known for their folding bikes.

The Hon family ran Dahon but then suffered an internal dispute that led to them splitting. The father, physicist Dr. David Hon is left running Dahon, while his wife Florence and son Joshua are running the breakaway company Tern.

The breakup is very acrimonious with rival law suits and the father accusing wife and son of stealing designs. Real happy families stuff!
