compared to what ?.Having never ridden a Bosch , I was wondering how loud they are ?
Nice one! Excellent choice..26 or 29, SlX or Alfina ?lol be nice to know what it cost....well jell!my KTM Machina Race has finally been ordered from Austria, and it is the new 2013model, with 400ah battery instead of 2012 300ah...also has improved forks I believe, and the new Bosch HMI 'dashboard'
will write it up when arrived/de=boxed/and ridden........early Xmas present
a 400aH battery would weigh about 150kg and need a trailer towed behind the bike. Could you clarify what you mean?my KTM Machina Race has finally been ordered from Austria, and it is the new 2013model, with 400ah battery instead of 2012 300ah...also has improved forks I believe, and the new Bosch HMI 'dashboard'

The latest versions of the Bosch drive are marginally quieter than the Panasonic drive. As I understand it, The early Bosch drives had the reduction gear-train cut from hardened alloy. In the latest versions, one of these gears is now cut from composite material, possibly nylon.Having never ridden a Bosch , I was wondering how loud they are ?
Sorry, I was a bit abrupt. I knew about the 8aH and 11aH batteries, but I couldn't relate it to 300 and 400 of anything. I got it now thanks to Cakey. It must have been the late night I had last night. I'm losing it in my old age. It was my 60th yesterday.d8ve....I knew I was walking on dodgy ice here, bandying stats like 300 or 400, but I am only repeating what my Austrian contact has written, and his English is only a bit better than my non existent German, (limited to achtung-achtung- shnell englander etc ), but the Bosch website does mention something about a 'better' battery, and so do the german pedelec folk...it is obviously wh and not ah!!
Many happy returns of yesterday young man!I'm losing it in my old age. It was my 60th yesterday.
