These kept my feet warm and dry

Managed to get a 15 mile ride in today, plenty of standing water and slush but helped with the withdrawal symptoms:D

I`ve been walking in deep snow now for over a week around the lanes and in general put these on in the morning to be able to get out in the garden to feed birds and clear snow.

These have been performing 100%, warm dry and supported feet for a change and todays ride proved that they have been probably my best bad weather boots I have ever purchased. I`m amazed just how light they are and how the sizes seem to be just a touch generous enough to allow air flow around those tiny pinkies:D With your jeans or trousers pulled down over them they are quite a smart pair of black shoes. Combined with my M&S Merino wool long johns and high neck vest I have been able to keep warm during this very cold spell and managed to keep the thermostat down a few degrees.

Just thought worth sharing when you find a project at the right price that actually lives up to your expectation.

Hiya Meg

You are welcome. Walking around on uneven snow and ice I found the height gave great ankle support.

How are you? does the cold air slow you down?

Ankle support and comfort is why I wear cat boots pathetically weak ankles I have!
I'm doing great thanks hun, the cold cold air does slow me down a bit but not to bad a nice motorcycle neck warmer over my mouth and nose helps, but I have to say no riding when it's slippy for me I'm a confirmed chicken :D

Those look just the job Old Timer for this weather! I've been wearing my pullover fleece top which keeps me really warm but haven't been as brave as you to venture out my bike yet.. it's going to warm up a bit as the week goes on so maybe get a ride later in week. At least the snow is melted, here in the Midlands anyway!

They look better than the boots I had in the cadets in the 60's.
I trust that you have applied the right amount of spit and polish so you can use the boots as additional mirrors if you use them on the bike.
