I have the XM9's, great boots. I use them in conjunction with RAB bouldering gaiters to keep the floods out, works fine in this weather, warm dry feet. I agree re Shimano sizing, they are on the small side so go one bigger, it is less of an issue with cycling. Also an SPD fan
