Torque arms recommendation

I think I may need to mount a pair of torque arms for the rear hub motor on my greaser. I like the look of the ones that hammer e-bikes sell.

Does anyone have any experience of these or recommendations for other suppliers?

I have used those in the past (pre angle adjustment), they are good and sturdy. I used mudguard mount to fix too, tricky but managed to get them in. The addition of the star angle adjuster should make them fit just about anywhere.

I ordered them a few days ago and they arrived this morning and I have test fitted them. I’m going to remove them again for painting. I had to file a small relief on one of them to clear the caliper bolt and file a flat on a couple of washers. I’m very pleased with them. They are a snug fit over the axle which is exactly what is needed.9BA12BCC-3D27-456A-A2DE-D9F3B21E9F0C.jpegFC013AA5-D78E-41D6-B7F8-C786572045D8.jpeg

Try the TA axle fitting on it's own reversed to see if it wil align with the M5 tapping , the TA will be more secure and neater as a one piece fitting rather then the two piece set up.

To this point, I make my own TA's up out of 2 - 3mm steel as a one piece item. Once I have the axle shape cut out and snug fitting I then drill and align a hole for any m5 tapping , then shape the oversize metal afterwards.

There’s no chance on the derailleur side because the derailleur hanger is in the way, but there is a possibility on the brake side if I drill and tap a new hole in the frame, but I don’t want to weaken the frame because there are already 2 holes in the vicinity. I have put a pencil mark where the hole would need to be drilled, what do you think?B7BF82BE-8AEC-47A2-BA27-25C093AA9CE0.jpeg

I don't think it is worth tapping a new one esp on that inner corner.

I will fit them back as I had them originally then, when the paint has had a chance to harden.
