I am looking at both the Tongsheng TSDZ2 and the BBS01/2 but I have a query concerning the fit of these items.

Since looking into them the only requirement seems to be that the width of the bottom bracket tube at 68mm or just a little over. No mention is made to the diameter of the bracket tube which must surely be a consideration as there seems to be a number of different standards eg. Conventional threaded, BB90/BB95, PF86/92 etc.

How does anyone know before purchase if the motor will fit properly?

I feel sure there is a simple answer but I haven’t found it yet and would appreciate the advice of the experts here.

If you have a screw-in bottom bracket, you'll be fine. if you have press-fit ones, you need adapters. They can all be used, except that the press-fit ones are often wider too. Anything wider than 73mm means that you need a special width motor, which is available for BBSxx motors. I'm not sure about the Tongsheng.
