Hi, I'm looking for some help and advice. As previously mentioned, I have fitted a TSDZ2 to a Hase Ketweissel recumbent trike - conversion is 42V battery with the brake sensors, throttle and remote controls not fitted (tried - but not needed and it reduces clutter).

Everything worked well initially but it is now stiff pulling off for a few turns of the crank before the motor kicks in - at the same time, the lcd reads 62.4mph before reading correctly. I have been careful the last few times to leave the pedals free for the 30 seconds mentioned in the manual.

Any suggestions on a resolution?

check the gap between the spoke magnet and the speed sensor.
It needs to be about 10mm to avoid false pulses. Larger gap = better.
