We have (today!) taken delivery of 150 boxes of spares from batteries to mudguards to throttles. If anyone is waiting on spares, please get in touch with your local dealer and we would be more than happy to get the relevant parts out.

Hi Mike,

I have some bad news on the UM44S front....

We had a huge order from the USA and my whole UM44S stock was re-routed there. I had no say so, so really apologise. I can offer you a UM44SL or a White UM36SX (Same voltage) with a rack fitted FOC.

The alternative is that more stock arrives at the end of June / beginning of July.

I appreciate this is very frustrating, and certainly isn't a decision I was happy with.

Hi Mark...thanks for the post.

I already have a Wisper and I was toying with the idea of buying another..brand new... I don't want the UM Glider or the Unisex model but I have fancied the UM44S U Sprite for some time but I live at Wakefield in West Yorkshire and I am a little concerned at what I would do if it went wrong.

I had intended to go to Presteign next month, try a UM44S U Sprite before making a final decision but it seems unlikely there will be one to try...

I will ring you and see what's on offer if I decide to wait.

Hi Mike,

No problems, we will bring a UM44SL to the show so you can try. If you can wait the S version will be available in a few months.

Support is pretty good, now that we distribute 2 exclusive models through Halfords (I'll check) but you should be able to take it into any Halfords store for maintenance....

I doubt there's any chance of a reply Paul. On November 7 2011 Ultra Motor Ltd. filed for administration in the UK.

Mark's last Ultra Motor posts in the pedelecs forum were in that month.

He was selling interior lighting the last I heard. It's a shame because he was a nice bloke. For a moment I thought he was back.
