Have been given immaculate ezee quango bike
Battery charged and reads 30 volts
Control box red light on
But went red straight away on bike so assume battery dead
Now charge battery and charger goes to green straight away
And control light won't come on at all
Lights also won't come on
Any ideas please!!!!!!!?

The Quando's battery is almost certainly dud, it should show 41 volts fully charged and on the bike will cut out as empty at 32 volts.

Do you think that's why no lights or control box light not on?
Is it a good bike worth spending £280 on the new battery?

There is a very real risk that the bike has faults, the controller may have failed for example. The built in lights on these can suffer cables burnt out by an accidental short, I know because I did that once on a Quando.

Ideally it would be best to try a battery from another Ezee bike owner to see if the bike is working before spending on a new battery. If you say what area you are in, maybe there'll be an Ezee owner close enough who could help.

If you are anywhere near Milton Keynes, the agents Cyclezee are based there and could help.

When they are working the Quando is a good little e-bike, the motor powerful though the lack of any gears means pedalling is limited to below about 15 mph.
