It does have the advantage of not having a uncomfortable seat, and it gives a literal meaning to just hanging about. Not sure about the nostalgia ?

It's the reinvention of the very first bicycle ever in 1817, the Hobby Horse, the only difference being that the rider hangs from it instead of sitting astride. Both look painful.

Mmmmm......I dont know.....it has a certain weird attraction to it, would it not be useful for helping people to run further for exercise ?

Could I see myself jogging around Ilminster in/on it......probably not, and it will likely cost a fortune, but that harness has to be more comfortable than a bike seat ?

Lynda :)

Or perhaps electrify it and you have a low speed, hang glider practising device !

Not sure about that harness , funkylyn. The chaps on here seem less keen - for obvious reasons

I think the human male problem is more one of externalisation, rather than lack of padding.

Most male insects do better, they have fully retractable couplings.

OH GOD Flecc.......Im crying with laughing.......

I could be tempted to say a lot, but will stop at.... I have never EVER had nightmares about male genitalia.... unless of course they WERE retracted and belonged to an insect...........but thats another story

Stop trying to plant the 'seed of the idea' and spoiling my dreams .........oh...and does it apply to spiders too ? :D

No, male spiders are very courteous. They have an arm like appendage called a palp which they use to hand the sperm package they've produced to the female for her to accept or reject. She often isn't so courteous, much of the time accepting but also eating the male to gain the necessary nourishment to produce eggs.

It might be courteous but seems a bit boring...... maybe thats just because Im not a spider.....

But, nevertheless, sounds like reasonable behaviour to me Flecc...after all, the survival of the species is much more important than that of one useful, but replaceable, male.......in ANY species :D

If humans did the same, I suppose the male could get a brief moment of pleasure by specifying what part the hungry female should start on.

Enough of this digressing back to spiders yet again.....back to this 'thing'.....is it only me that actually quite likes the idea of it ?
The thought of doing some running helped by this doing some supporting is strangely attractive.....are they actually available or just a figment of some nutters imagination ?

I am currently 4 days into my latest fitness/weightloss regime so it could be the lack of chocolate and alcohol that is making me delirious........:D

Lynda :)
