Got to replace the rear Kenda on my Wisper 905e as it has split at the bead, I am going to fit a Marathon Plus in its stead, the question is what size, the Kenda is 26*1.95 and the Marathons come in 26*1.75 and 26*2.00.

The other question is who is the cheapest supplier ?

The Marathon Plus 2" only seems to be around in a fairly knobbly MTB tread at £25.20 from All Terrain Cycles, who are normally cheaper than this.

St Johns Cycles are normally low price but not currently, so they are out.

Best bet seems to be Spa Cycles who have 26 x 1.75 at a very low £19 each, best price I've seen in a long time.

I agree with flecc that you don`t need the wider tyre. There is a company on E bay that I buy mine from and if you give them a message or a phone call after placing the order they will come unfolded by parcel force. To be honest, a folded Marathon doesn`t seem to suffer at all once it`s on the rim and inflated but in my own experience an unfolded tyre is a lot easier to get on the rim. Let me know if you need the link.
