Well, we now have 1019 members at last count, probably more as I write this.
I wonder if the increase in membership is related to rapidly increasing transport costs. This could well be a boom time for the e-bike trade. Every cloud....

In less than 3 weeks forum membership has jumped by 100, with a total as I write of 1100. I wonder if this rapid increase is due to the rapid increase in fuel prices?

Hi John,

yes in recent months there has been a rapid increase in the number of visitors to the site. Several new members have stated on the introductions thread that they are looking to reduce their car dependence.

Oil broke a new record yesterday at over $140 a barrel, which is still ridiculously cheap in my opinion - a cup of coffee at Starbucks is more expensive that a cup of oil.

I joined because the technology has improved enough recently to make it a viable way to ditch the train, I hate the train to London. :(

All we need now is suitable weather.
I can't believe you said that Poppy, living in Spain!

Ok, I know you're in the northern hills and not basking in the southern Costas, but you're sure better off than the UK.

I am sure that by now you must have put me down as the querulous sort. And you would be right. Since midNovember weather only impeded my 15 km daily trips in less than 15 days. Mostly due to wind. This is good surfing area. Part of the international circuit.
I know that what follows belongs to another thread, but I´m rolling (no pun intended, I swear): Taking into account the number of K.A. Pro Connect. owners/almost owners, it seems to me that you could prepare an article on the 10 most important things to be considered when riding the Pro. You´ve already done a third of the job!

There's really only one Poppy, the same one as for all e-bikes:

Enjoy yourself, whatever you are most comfortable with doing is the right thing to do.
