Why do companies offer silver torque arms?

Hi, i hope all is well.

i am currently converting my bike and bought black hose clamps, i also painted my torque arms black using Hammerite special medals primer and Hammerite black paint.

If i was to do this again i would use Hammerite spray paint as it would give a better finish and be quicker.

Torque arms are usually silver which to me seems a bit of a missed opportunity for companies as most frames / forks are not silver (if i wrong in this regard then fair enough). Even if companies offered torque arms in different colours and charged extra i am sure most people would pay the cost (British company lead the way?).

I have some primer left if people are willing to pay for 50ml (this will be put in a plastic bottle) of it, post and packing (no profit will be made on this).

I do not work for Hammerite or any paint company its just what i had in the shed, i used the primer as the torque arms were galvanised.

I know you can buy stainless steel torque which would require just a normal primer.

Thanks for reading.

Dougie
