Why do seller never know about the product they sell?

I'm really surprised by that.

Every time I ask for basic questions such as motor efficiency curve or cells information and they have no clue about that.

It's not just on ebay, it's also on aliexpress or even in Alibaba. And even on some shops where they say they are manufacturer!!

So, why don't they have any clues about what they are selling??

Worse is that they don't want to reveal their source so I don't buy because I DON'T know!

It's true of all products cwah, not just e-bikes. Modern businesses are just not interested in training from young and keeping the resulting knowledgeable staff who are enthusiasts for their product's subject for the long term.

All they care about is shifting product to maximise the bottom line, and any training is on sales methods and how to simulate customer service.

Everyone on Alibaba is in it for the money. Nothing else. Some are better than others, but some are really dodgy! The good ones know they'll do better by actually being honest, rather than just stealing your money. A lot are selling substandard goods or factory rejects just to get your money.

(Don't buy memory cards of alibaba - most look like they work, but either capacity is lacking, or they store corrupt data/lose data)

In reality, if they gave you the info... would you believe it anyway???
