Help here
Wanted to finalise the Jenny bike purchase Monday, found synergy is now selling with too big a frame, forced to go step thro because of Js hip problem.......Urged to buy Greenage Blackstar, found it had only one gear, looked at Greenedge Silverdo, nice spec but folder...I dont care about that but the wheels are only 20" and the battery although 36v is only 8ah
The one I fancy a bit is the Windsor LPX , has gears, 26" wheels, but only 26volt but 10 ah battery
How does performance of a 20inch folding bike compare to a 26inch non folding.

Full size bikes are generally more pleasant to ride, easier rolling, usually better gear ratios with more efficient sprocket sizes.

Electric performance though is down to the motor etc, and lower voltage systems aren't necessarily slower. The Powacycle is on the lower powered side, but it performs ok up to the legal limit and can handle moderate hills. If you have steep hills over 10%, something more powerful is advisable.

all ive known is folders but not because i wanted to ride one but because i catch the train and also put in the boot of a car, they are a fun thing to ride for 2-3 miles...then a real bore and a chore, you cant pedal any of them faster then 13mph cos of gear ratio.so i sit and throttle at 15.5mph...literally a bloody chore  ........short trips to shops YES, popping here and there YES, on and off trains YES, in and out of car boots YES,but if you want a pleasureable ride for enjoyment NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

for sale.......................................folder
