Wireless Gear Shift and Brakes on eBikes?

I can see the Pinion electric motor/gearbox that soundwave posted, will be the way forward for Ebikes.

As much as I love my Rohloff, the Pinion drive is a better set up than the Rohloff, especially for none Ebikes, even though it does require a specific frame, unlike the Rohloff which can be retrofitted to almost any bike.

I am also shocked and stunned, that the Bosch and Yamaha Crank Drive motors don't come with an embedded gearbox, it's almost as though they have only done half a job, or am I missing something.

The shop's in Telford. those bikes were exhibited at the Bike Show, so there must be other dealers. It must be just over 40 kg because they told me that the importer said it was still legal because it could be classed as a tandem as it had a dual seat and passenger footrests. The law has changed on the weight recently, so that's not an issue anymore
