I have two broken spokes and have tried LBS and Halfords for spares with no luck.

Are these 'special' spokes? Or was I just unlucky and should try more local bike shops?

Both on rear wheel. I guess I'll contact the retailer. I do have warranty but didn't really think of it for a couple of spokes which cost pence (well they did last time I bought some) (also the retailer isn't exactly local. Hopefully they'll post them)

Get in touch with Norman (Wisper support+on this forum) directly, he'll send you some spokes because you won't get them anywhere else (unless you're really lucky and if you do please let everyone know!!).

Cheers
Steve

I'd just like to offer a public note of thanks to Norman, as I broke a spoke yesterday, droped him an email, and within 24hrs got a respose from him saying he'd post me replacements. I don't think it can get better than that with regard to after sales support, thanks again! :)

The way Norman, David and the rest of Wisper deal with customer service is a credit to their company and a shining example to British industry as a whole - I have come across a company which can provide this level of service in decades - Both myself and Straylight live in a part of the country where e-bike dealers are rare, but Wisper do not pass the buck back and ensure we get the same level of service as areas where there are "dealers on the doorstep".

For anyone stuck for any make of the shorter length spokes for motorised wheels, St Johns Cycles stock a range of British made ones which I've successfully used on various bikes. My 20" wheel Q-bike runs on these and it's rear wheel has one of the most powerful legal motors in it and carries prodigious loads. Don't worry if they aren't the same thickness as your present ones, they do the job ok which is all that matters. These spokes are stainless steel and available from 120 mm to 244 mm in 2 mm steps:
