Was flicking through a few old pictures yesterday and came across the following of my unpowered Chinese bike. Slightly off topic but after two weeks riding this in 90% humidity I decided to go electric.
Cost £25 brand new. However, I think you will agree it was never going to be a worldwide seller.

This would fill you with confidence that years of trouble free cycling lay ahead!!
