Nice idea, but how would you stop the bike turning whilst it's being dragged up the walls. I suspect it might cause lot of scratched paintwork and broken brake levers.

That's if the Health and Safety nuts don't fall straight into a coma at the 'horror of it all'! H&S bods laying in the streets twitching, froth from the corners of their mouths, pointing and making strange, strangulated sputtering noises.

Great idea, and if you find salad on the wheel rim in the morning you know that the drunk with the kebab last night had a good throwing arm.

I would like it as my house is set back from the road and it wouldn't be dangerous, I'd be a bit worried in high wind though as it could cause a lot of damage!

I think it's a great idea!
Lots of people in cities dont' have bikes because they don't have anywhere to put them. I know many people who carry their bikes up one or more flights of stairs to store in their flat every night. If it enables some more people to get bikes who otherwise wouldn't, then great.
However I think they will be a target for vandals, until they become commonplace. Also there's no protection from the rain. Maybe a big sack would do the trick...!

Lawyers lips on the forks will definately prove their moneys worth there, QR skewers can pop out under heavy braking so I'd expect a few to drop from the sky.

I guess theres a pulley and chain system thats open to attack?I can see them as targets for drunken vandals in an expensive after closing hours game.

The handlebars would make a nice perch for the pidgeons but let's be honest it's not really going to happen is it.
