Similar to the handlebar mitts that motorcyclists and scooterists use, very effective and I've used them myself on motorbikes in winters:

I suppose also, they would protect all your electrical bits and pieces on the handlebar in heavy rain. Although to be honest I've never had a problem with that.

That's true, some e-bikes handlebar electrics have been vulnerable, so the Barbra would be best on those. Might be worth adding a transparent window for the speedo and battery meter in some cases.
